This course develops understanding of business fundamentals in a managerial and entrepreneurial context. It builds practical skills through research, independent study, directed study and real-life workplace scenarios.

HND in Business is a higher national qualification focused on business and management. It combines applied learning with practical subject knowledge, helping students build skills that can support employment or progression to further higher-education study. Students may study areas such as Accounting Principles, Entrepreneurial Ventures, Innovation and Commercialisation, Leadership and Management, Management of Human Resources and Managing a Successful Business Project (Pearson-set), alongside wider themes in business environment, leadership, marketing, finance, operations, enterprise, strategy and organisational practice. Full-time; GBS may offer weekday/evening classes subject to availability.
