BSc (Hons) Psychology

BSc (Hons) Psychology focuses on psychology. It is designed to develop subject knowledge, academic skills and practical understanding that can support progression into employment or further study. Students may study areas such as Academic and Professional Skills, Introduction to Social and Developmental Psychology, Introduction to Biological and Cognitive Psychology, Introduction to Psychological Research Methods, Advanced Social and Developmental Psychology and Advanced Research Methods, alongside wider themes in human behaviour, mental processes, research methods, wellbeing, social psychology and applied psychological perspectives. Full-time - Standard delivery Studying on campus 2 days a week which is Monday - Friday (10:00-17:00)

Entry requirements: BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DMM in a related subject. All applicants are required to have at least 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths. Non-Standard Entry (Mature 21+): We require an academic Level 3 qualification (Ofqual recognised) OR a Level 2 qualification in the desired field of study accompanied with work experience within this field in the last 5 years. Candidates in this category would be required to pass an academic interview.
