BSc (Hons) Mental Health and Wellbeing focuses on mental health and wellbeing. It is designed to develop subject knowledge, academic skills and practical understanding that can support progression into employment or further study. Students may study areas such as Academic and Professional Skills, Mental Health and Wellbeing in Context, Positive Psychology and Resilience, Mental Health, Wellbeing and the Individual, Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Adult Mental Health, alongside wider themes in mental health, wellbeing, communication, safeguarding, public health, health promotion, research and support practice. Full-time - Standard delivery Studying on campus 2 days a week which is Monday - Friday (10:00-17:00)

Entry requirements: BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DMM in a related subject. All applicants are required to have at least 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths. Non-Standard Entry (Mature 21+): We require an academic Level 3 qualification (Ofqual recognised) OR a Level 2 qualification in the desired field of study accompanied with work experience within this field in the last 5 years. Candidates in this category would be required to pass an academic interview.

Career outcomes: Career outcomes may include mental health support worker, wellbeing officer, community support worker, health promotion assistant, recovery support roles or further study in health, psychology or social care.
